HFRC is working with Holland Special Pumps (HSP) (sister company to Hytrans) to promote and sell their firefighting robots in the US.
The HSP Inferno Beater® is a firefighting robot. It allows remote controlled firefighting when close access to a fire is obstructed or high-risk operations must be undertaken. Features include:
- Live camera feed to assist the operator
- A water shield to protect the robot and its tracks
- A deluge monitor providing adjustable fog/jet nozzle and horizontal/vertical adjustment and an automatic oscillating function.
The largest unit is diesel driven and can tow up to 650 ft of hose while climbing a 25⁰ slope.
There is also a small electric motor driven robot that has a 790 GPM flow capacity (230 ft throw), 5 hour battery life, and a width of only 29.5 in (fits through a normal household door). The electric driven unit is also available with a water turbine.
